Installation programme for the Rotary Year 2022/23

19th Installation programme of the Rotary Club of The Himalayan Gurkhas for the Rotary Year 2022/23 held at BG Banquet and Events, Gongabu. In the installation Ceremony, DGN. Rtn. Rajendra Man Serchan (DG-2024/25) was the Chief Guest from the Rotary International District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan; in the event and Immediate Past Assistant Governor Rtn. Manoj Kandel was the Guest of Honour.
President Elect of the Club Rtn. Bhoj Bahadur Khatri delivered welcome remarks and warmly welcomed all the participants including Chief Guest, Guest of honor and other Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors in the installation ceremony. President Elect Rtn. Bhoj Bahadur Khatri introduced new President Rtn. Satta Bahadur Gurung to the Chief Guest and other participants. DGN Rtn. Rajendra Man Sherchan offered Collar (Mala), and handed over the Charter Certificate, Gavel and Gong to the new President Rtn. Satta Bahadur Gurung. He further conducted oath taking ceremony to the new President Rtn. Satta Bahadur Gurung.
IPP Rtn. Siri Prasad Gurung (President 2019-20/2020/21) briefly presented the project and social activities; those were successfully implemented during his tenure. IPP Rtn. Gurung presented Token of appreciation to the outgoing board of directors for their valuable contribution during the Rotary Year 2019/20 and 2020/21.
President Rtn. Satta Bahadur Gurung introduced his Board of Directors for the Rotary Year 2022/23 and he further conducted oath taking ceremony to the new Board of Directors. IPP Rtn. Siri Prasad Gurung presented Token of Love to the IP AG Rtn. Manoj Kumar Kandel (for the Year 2021/22). At the same program, Current AG Rtn. Lalita Thapa inducted three new members to the RC The Hiamlayan Gurkhas.
The new members were:
1. Rtn. Bishnu Bandhu Aryal
2. Rtn. Dr. Sophiya Gurung
3. Rtn. Juna Pun
AG. Rtn. Ms. Thapa addressed in the event, and she is hopeful for better implementation of the club activities in close coordination with RI District 3292. She further requested to the Club in the reporting that has been appeared in Rotary Club Central and requested to add new members at least 10% during this Rota Year. Vice President of the Club Rtn. Lok Bahadur Gurung delivered Vote of Thanks in the ceremony. At the last, Sgt-At-Arms Rtn. Sadikhya Kandel reported the attendance and sunshine reports.
