Installation programme of the Rotary Club of the Himalayan Gurkhas for the Rotary Year 2020/21 took place today virtually. In the installation programme, Rtn. Ambika Shrestha, Assistant Governor was the Chief Guest from the RI District 3292; likewise past AG Rtn. Milan Bikram Shah was the Guest of Honour in the virtual programme.
Rtn. Lok Bahadur Gurung delivered welcome speech and warmly welcomed all the participants including Chief Guest, Guest of honor and other Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors. VP Rtn. Satta Bahadur Gurung introduced President Siri Prasad Gurung to the Chief Guest and other participants. President Rtn. Siri Prasad Gurung presented Token appreciation to the outgoing board of directors for their valuable contribution during the year. Likewise, President presented a Guest of Honour to the Past AG Rtn. Milan Bikram Shah.
Charter President of the Club, Rtn. Maj. Gopal Bahadur Gurung introduced new AG Rtn. Ambika Shrestha to the fellow Rotations and other participants. Outgoing AG Rtn. Milan Bikram Shah thanked to the club and the members for their support and activeness during his tenure.
President Rtn. Siri Prasad Gurung presented Token of Love to the AG Rtn. Ambika Shrestha. AG Rtn. Ambika Shrestha told to the club to increase the number of the Rotarians at least 5 members per year and she is delighted to work with this club.
In the programme, President of the Rotaract Club of the Peoples Campus Ms. Juna Pun and Past President of the same club Ms. Sadiksha Kandel were present.
Most of the Past President of the club were attended. The master ceremony of the event was Secretary Rtn. Bhoj Bahadur Khatri.
