Official DG visits for the RY 2022/23
District Governor’s Official visit and 19th Charter Day of the Rotary Club of The Himalayan Gurkhas was celebrated on Saturday, 10th September 2022 at Parelee Banquet, Baluwatar, Kathmandu. At this function, Chief Guest was District Governor (DG) of the Rotary International District 3292 Rtn. Mr. Jitendra B. Rajbhandary. Likewise, First Lady Sarita Rajbhandary, DGE Rtn. Rajendra Prasad Dhoju, DGN Rtn. Rajendra Man Sherchan, PDG Rtn. Sanjay Giri, AG Rtn. Lalita Thapa, District Secretary Rtn. Amit Giri, District Grant Cub committee Chair Rtn. Siba Bhakta Rajbhandary, Past AG Rtn. Milan Bikram Shah, Past GML Committee Chair Rtn. Rajendra Shakya, President of Rotaract Club of Peoples Campus Rtr. Sunil Shrestha and Interactors from Interact Club of Valley Public School were attended the function.
DG Rtn. Mr. Jitendra B. Rajbhandary started 4th Club assembly and requested to present the report by the committee chairs. All the five committee chair presented their report to the DG.

3. Membership Chair – Rtn. Yubaraj Gurung
4. Public Image Chair – Rtn. Rum B Gurung

DG commented on reports and provided valuable feedback.
Club President Rtn. Satta Bahadur Gurung started RWM 794. During the RWM, AG Rtn. Lalita Thapa inducted one new member to the Club. President Rtn. Satta B Gurung conducted oath taking ceremony and DG Rtn. Jitendra B Rajbhandary handed over the Club pin and publications to the newly inducted member.

DG’s introductory video was played during the event. Then DG addressed the programme. He requested to the Club to collaborate with District and other clubs as well while implementing the projects. He further emphasized to bring new member to the Club and to retain the existing members. He congratulate the Club for 19th Charter Day Celebration and for implementing tremendous services projects over the period.
Club President Rtn. Satta Bahadur Gurung presented Token of Appreciation to the DG and bouquet to the First Lady Sarita Rajbhandary by the daughter of President Rtn. Dr. Sophiya Gurung.
Charter President Rtn. Maj. Gopal Bahadur Gurung addressed the event and he further briefed about the Club history and establishment. Vice President Rtn. Lok Bahadur Gurung delivered Vote of Thanks. Master of Ceremony of the event was Rtn. Capt. Mohan Kumar Gurung.
