Official DG visit to the Club has been concluded virtually on 27th January 2021. District Governor (DG) Rtn. Mr. Rajib Pokhrel was the chief guest in the event. Likewise, Assistant Governor (AG) Rtn. Ms. Ambika Shrestha and District Secretary Rtn. Mr. Sushil Rijal also attended the event. Five committee chairs presented the progress reports of the Rot. Year 2020/21 to the DG.
Committees are as below:
1. Club Admin Committee: Chair – Rtn. Satta Bahadur Gurung, PHF+1
2. TRF Contribution Committee: Chair – Rtn. Major Gopal B Gurung MBE, PHF+1
3. Service Project Committee: Chair – Rtn. Major Bhim Bahadur Gurung, MVO, MBE, PHF+1
4. Membership Committee: Chair – Rtn. Mr. Yubraj Gurung, PHF+1
5. Public Image Committee: Chair – Rtn. Mr Rum Gurung, PHF
The DG commented on the reports submitted by the respective committee chairs and provided necessary suggestions as well. The global grant projects and other projects were highly appreciated by the DG. He further emphasized and requested to the club members to donate to the Rotary Foundation as the Club has been implementing so many Global Grants projects.
Today, one new member Ms. Sadikhya Kandel joined the Club. AG Rtn. Ms. Ambika Shrestha inducted Ms. Kandel.
